2. The chromium coating properties:


2.1 The thickness of the chromium layer: 15 mm +/- 3 mm to 20 mm, a diameter of
25 microns +/- 5 mm 20 mm in diameter

On special order rods provide a double layer of chromium
2.2 The hardness of the surface
layer of chromium:
850 - 1150 HV (penetrator loaded force 1N)
2.3 The hardness of the core: 200 - 240 (diameter ≤ 90 mm)
180 - 230 (diameter> 90 mm)
2.4 Roughness: Randmax - 0,2 microns
2.5 Adhesion: Without cracks, fractures or chips after heat shock
(sample heated above 300° C and cooled in water).
2.6 Corrosion resistance: A minimum of 120 hours wdług ISO 9227 in a neutral saline.
